Over 100 000 images are released for free use by the Finnish Heritage Agency

The Finnish Heritage Agency released more than 100 000 low-resolution images from its Picture Collections for use without charge.

The digital images are available for download on the Finna website, www.finna.fi. They cover the 20th century and include pictures from the 19th and 21st century. Most of the images are published under Creative Commons CC BY, which means that they can be used for any kind of activities as far as the name of the photographer and the source are mentioned.
