MOI! Evaluation for Impact - Nordic Stakeholder Forum

Monday 10th of May 2021 10:30 -16:30 CET

Welcome to the next MOI Stakeholder Forum! The third webinar in the series of six open stakeholder forums will be dedicated to the Nordic museum sector. The event which is organised by the Finnish Heritage Agency and the Finnish Museums Association, will focus on the concept of developmental self-evaluation and how it can be used to strengthen the impact of museums in society.

A round table discussion will gather experts to discuss the power of museums as change makers in the society and the potential for impact that museums as institutions have today.

In the afternoon participants are invited to give their own input for developing the self-evaluation framework in workshops facilitated by the project partners. The discussions will concentrate on different areas for impact of museums.

More information will be published soon!

The first MOI! Open Stakeholder Forum was successfully organised in November 2020 by German partner Institute of Museum Research for the German-speaking museum community. The Forum was organised online due to the current COVID-19 situation, reaching 93 participants in total, and overcoming the difficulties posed by the pandemic for the implementation of the project. During the extensive and successful Forum, the participants discussed current trends in society and their effects on museums, and the purpose and benefits of the framework as a tool to address impact and relevance.
