Archaeological Field Services
The Archaeological Field Services unit carries out archaeological investigations all over Finland both with state funding and by order.
Most of the field work is contract archaeology carried out in advance of construction or other land development. The so called Trial Excavation Team performs field work concerning small private building projects with state funding.
